“Creating will all the colors”

Artist bio

Crystal Ulloa is a Studio Artist based in Los Angeles, specializing in oil commemorative portrait work.

Upon graduating High School, Crystal experienced a traumatic event that would change her perception of life and healing. After tragically losing her cousin to gun violence, She found painting was the best form of healing for her. She soon realized it helped her family heal as well. It turned the conversation of Death into a conversation and celebration of life. Crystal knew that being in tune with her emotions could serve a social purpose. Empathizing came naturally to her, and she wanted to help more than just her family heal.

Crystal took this experience and opened up her space for others mourning a loss. She now commissions commemorative oil portraits of those who have lost a loved one or simply if it’s for commemorative purposes. Her business has caught the eye of famous singer Erick The Architect, The Above Face Oddities shop, and has had work displayed in various galleries such as the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library and the Ronald H. Silverman Gallery, both located at California State University Los Angeles, where she once studied as a Studio Arts Major.

Crystal wishes to fulfill peace and healing in others through her artwork and continues to do so even after accomplishing her degree at Cal State LA.
